5 mi singletrack Green Mountain Base Trail Singletrack route from S Rooney Rd to S Rooney Rd, Lakewood, Jefferson County, Colorado "The base trail around Green Mountain is wide single-track. Most of the trail has plenty of room for passing but is a little more challenging than the usual gravel road. There are trails that go to the top of Green Mountain, but most of the descents are pretty technical and mountain bike would probably be preferred. However, I have seen a handful of our dropbar brethren cruising even Green Mountains most difficult trails."
